Cannonball Adderley

Julian Edwin "Cannonball" Adderley, Tampa, 15 settembre 1928 - Gary, 8 agosto 1975. E' stato un sassofonista (contraltista) jazz statunitense. Il nomignolo Cannonball (palla di cannone) è una versione storpiata del soprannome infantile cannibal (cannibale), che avevano affibbiato ad Adderley a causa della sua mole e del suo appetito.
